Olivia Gouveia , Editor-In-Chief
My name is Olivia Gouveia and I’m a junior at El Paso High School. I was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved around a lot until the age of six, when I came to the Sun City. I have a younger sister at EPHS who’s a sophomore this year, and I live with my four dogs and both my parents.
I am a part of Student Council and run varsity cross country and track. I’m also in the National Honor Society and a member of the Nation Hispanic Institute where I’m able to lead my community.
This is my second year working on the newspaper staff. Last year, I was editor-in-chief and gained a lot from experience of how a student publication is run. My goal is to inform the student body with fresh content online and in print, and help be an extension to the students’ voice.
